What is a super-group meeting? The super-group meetings are intended to provide an informal setting for discussions and the exchange of ideas between people in different labs. They are similar to lab meetings, with some differences: the attendees come from many different groups; the focus is on a particular science area rather than lab activities (e.g., computational morphodynamics); there are no round-the table activity reports. In contrast to formal seminars, any presentations and discussions at these meetings are not expected to show results; rather they are intended to stimulate discussion of the current needs and interests of the Caltech community.
